Purpose of Meeting: Housing Analysis – Findings and Next Steps
Agenda:

• Financial Review & Project Sizing (15 minutes)
  • Explorations related to financial capacity
• Peer Programming Presentation & Discussion (25 minutes)
• Next Steps & Timeline (5 minutes)
  • Master Plan Addendum Kickoff
  • Visitation of Peer Concepts

Student Housing General Notes:

1. Financial review or project sizing presented via pro-forma for 400/600/800 bed projects.
2. Housing rates for SSU are lower than the CSU campus average.
3. Options to address shortfall in overall program discussed.
4. Options to address shortfall for project discussed.
5. 400/600 bed projects are more palatable from a debt service coverage ratio standpoint.
6. Peer Programming Presentation and Discussion will be shared and discussed/reviewed at our next meeting due to time consideration.
7. Meeting for CEQA addendum kickoff has been set up for January 10th.
8. Tours of Sacramento State and Davis are set for February 25th.

Actions:

1. Presentation of Peer Programming and Design to be shared. (James Birkey /JLL)
