    1. Stevenson Building Update
      C. Dinno reported a one year delay in completion due to SFM review and sign-off. Review process was held up due to fires and COVID. New construction completion date is late March 2023. Furniture and move-in will occur Spring/Summer 2023 – ready for classes Fall 2023.  Weekly newsletter (and other information) is posted on the Stevenson Remodel website: https://stevensonhall.sonoma.edu/
    2. Sheds on Campus (policy updates)
      D. Twedell reported that there have been numerous requests for erecting sheds. Shed structures fall under the New Buildings and Structures campus policy: https://policies.sonoma.edu/policies/construction-new-buildings-andor-structures. D. Twedell conducted a walk-through of campus and identified several sheds. There are several concerns about erecting sheds without a formalized process to address; ensure building code compliance, equity for all organizations, on-going maintenance (no State funding), locations, and overall management of storage (who ensures what is stored and how much?). Should the campus utilize only existing spaces for storage, build new building to address storage needs, or consider offsite third party storage.
  • N. Markley mentioned that past precedence was evaluating requests based on needs.
  • C. Dinno reported that sheds (including cargo containers) will require SFM sign off and fire sprinklers for fire/life safety.
  • K. Marian mentioned that storage will also require ADA accommodations
