Best Practice Notes for Adobe Acrobat Sign
From Enterprise Applications, Information Technology
Dear Adobe Acrobat Sign Account Holders,
Enterprise Applications wanted to reach out with a couple quick best practice notes about Adobe Acrobat Sign.
Not for Document Storage
Adobe Acrobat Sign is not intended to be a document storage solution. Please download completed forms and file them appropriately. Links to completed documents from email notifications expire after a certain time.
Safeguarding Level 1 Data
If you are collecting Level 1 data via Sign and have a copy of the completed document and/or a link to the completed document being sent to your email address, redact the fields with Level 1 data or remove the document copy and document link from your email notification.
If you have questions or need help, please submit an Adobe Sign Request. Select the “Other” request type and describe your issue, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Asset Ownership
Templates and Web Forms have a single owner in Adobe Acrobat Sign. The default owner is the creator. Only the owner can access the Templates and Web Forms in order to edit them. Refer to the Instructions for Departing Adobe Acrobat Sign Users to facilitate asset transfer, such as when an employee separates from the university or moves to a different department or role.
Sincerely,
The Enterprise Applications Adobe Acrobat Sign Team
